Bendigo District Cricket Association Competition
In the 2024/25 season the Bendigo Cricket Club has one team entered in the Women’s 1st XI competition.
The women’s teams play for the Lisa Chesters Shield.
Bendigo CC is proud to have had multiple female teams compete in the BDCA competitions since it’s inception in the 2019/20 season.
The 2024/25 season will see Bendigo Cricket Club field one team in the first XI competition.
The teams have proven ultra-competitive and represented the club during their short but eventful journeys in cricket so far by making finals in almost all seasons played.
The competition is played on Sunday from 10am. It is played in a 25-over one-day format. The standard of play is improving at a rapid rate, but pleasingly the competition still caters for players of all abilities and experience. Participation remains the priority with all team members having the opportunity to bat, bowl, and field.
